Cassegrain once in a decade sale

Cassegrain Wines will host a massive once in a decade warehouse clearance sale on an extensive range of quality Australian and International wines, from 9am till 7pm from Friday January 15 till Monday January 18 or while stocks last.

Selling by the case only from an incredible $30/case (only $2.50 per bottle, less than the cost of water), customers will have just four days to take advantage of the low prices.

Consolidating stock into a new state-of-the-art warehouse on site at the winery revealed the excess in product that must now be cleared to make way for the new sparkling range being bottled on-site for the first time in the New Year, and before 2010 vintage commences.

Customers taking advantage of this rare clearance will also enjoy special bonus bottle offers, lucky dips and discount coupons for Cellar Door and The Restaurant at Cassegrain Winery.

A broad range of International and Australian wines will be heavily discounted in the sale, with some of the exclusive wines being offered usually only available on the wine lists of some of Australia’s leading restaurants.

Sydney gets a taste of Port Macquarie

The fine fare of the Mid-North Coast has impressed some of Sydney’s toughest food critics who descended on Parliament House on Monday for the NSW Parliamentary Showcase.

Independent Member for Port Macquarie, Peter Besseling, said trade fare guests, including food and wine trade buyers, retailers, top-end restaurants and travel writers, were impressed by the quality and diversity of food and beverages on show at the event, which exclusively featured Mid-North Coast produce.

Mr Besseling used the occasion to further promote the good work of local farmers and producers during his speech in Parliament, inviting the state to sample the region’s fine fare at the 2009 Holiday Coast Credit Union Tastings of the Hastings, a week-long celebration of local food and wine, which culminates with an expo at the Port Macquarie Race Course on Sunday.
