For the first time outdoor cinema will be a summer entertainment option in the Hastings with five nights of free movies planned for later this month. Hastings Moonlight Movies will feature two screenings in Bain Park Wauchope and three screenings on Port Macquarie’s Town Green.
A concept developed by Member for Port Macquarie Peter Besseling and sponsored by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, Country Energy and Newcastle Permanent Building Society the event is set to be a highlight of the summer for locals and tourists.
According to Andrew Roach, Port Macquarie-Hastings Council General Manager one of the aims for the event is to create business in the CBD of both towns.

The Administrator will be happy to answer general questions from the floor, and will be ably assisted in this by Council’s General Manager, Andrew Roach, who has shown a keen interest in listening to the community.
