Dynasty Dance in Concert at the Glasshouse

Dynasty Dance is presenting what will be one of the most entertaining dance school concerts this year, at the Glasshouse on Sunday 13 December at 11am and 4pm. Featuring a mini musical based on the hit stage show, Wicked, the show will also showcase fabulous costumes and fun dance and theatrical performances as well as a variety of dance styles from classical to funky jazz.

Each concert opens with Wicked with students dancing, singing and acting their way through some of the hit scenes of the show. The talented lead actors Jamie–Leigh Johnson and Genevieve Dinham will have you in tears of laughter and emotion, in their portrayal of the beautiful good witch Glynda and the wicked witch Elphaba. These two talented young performers will be supported by Angela Johnson as the manipulating Madam Morrible and Nathan Brown as the dashing rogue, Fiyero.

Acts two and three of each concert feature over three hundred of the Dynasty students performing in all styles including Jazz, hip hop, song and dance, tap, modern expressive, acrobatics, classical ballet and theatrical performances. One of the highlights will be a lavish production of ‘ Be our guest’ from Beauty and the Beast. See the forks, plates and spoons come alive in this entertaining number.

Special guests this year are the well known Hasting Choristers who will be performing two songs in each concert.

The Dynasty Dance Concert will be a great family afternoon of entertainment.
